Basem or “Felix” was born in Milan, Italy and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. He came to the US in his early 20’s and soon made Athens, GA his new home. There was a short period where he was in Atlanta — this is where he met his partner in everything, Kat. Kathija, AKA Kat, was brought up in Trinidad as well as in New York and New Jersey. Her lineage traces back to India. She made her way to Georgia in 2012 and then in 2019 met the love of her life, Basem.

Both Felix and Kat grew up in cultures where food was valued and used as a form of giving love. From their heart to your table, these two always share love and appreciation through thier food and hospitality.
